a). Condensing.
This boiler was made in order that the water which returned from the heating system cooled the flue gas. Called a “High Efficiency Boiler” and is best with lower water temperatures in a system and is very efficient. These types are available for use fuels such as, gas, LPG or oil. A Combi-condensing boiler is also available.

b). Back.
An older kind of boiler design which sits directly in a void behind a gas fire and is yet another type of the heat exchange system. An N11 Plumber can service this type of system.

c). Conventional.
The conventional boiler works with a heat exchanger to produce its hot water in a very similar way to a cooker ring heats a kettle. Most of this design, works with fully pumped open vented systems, with a small number of them, working with gravity hot water systems.

d). Combination.
Or the Combi-boiler as it is known is a CH boiler and also a multi point type of water heater in one. It supplies hot water from the cold water mains supply on instant demand all around the home. It is not fitted with a cylinder or tank, so saves lots of space.
